ABOUT US

The legacy of Sayaji Tempo began with Shri E.P. Varghese (1934-1991), whose entrepreneurial spirit brought him from distant Vennikulam in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district to Vadodara. Encouraged by the impetus to industrialization that Gujarat offered, he set up a tread rubber manufacturing unit in the year 1977. Raw rubber from Kerala was processed to tread rubber which found a market among tyre re-treaders in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Subsequently the unit moved to a plot in GIDC, in 1983 and is today the Chartered Rubber Products .
DIVERSIFICATION
With the next generation taking over the helm, the young visionary Shri Abraham Varghese, spotted an opportunity to diversify into the automobile sector.
The year 2002 was the beginning of the relationship with Force Motors Ltd. (then known as Bajaj Tempo).
Over the years the synergies between Sayaji Tempo and Force Motors Ltd has translated into a successful and customer-centric organization, which has held the distinction of topping sales numbers.
CUSTOM-BUILT VEHICLES
Continuing in our tradition of customer delight, a new business vertical, ‘Custom-built’ vehicles was introduced under the leadership of Shri Philips Varghese.
A Sayaji Tempo customer now had the option to modify the company models of the Traveller mini-van, pre-delivery to suit specialized purposes like emergency first responder cardiac ambulances and also convert to a ‘home-on-wheels’ (motor home) for extended tours.
Apart from the convenience of customizing in-house, our first-hand experience with the product range assures the customer that his brand new purchase is in credible hands.
